How to Receive and Send Messages on Vzwpix

You can send and receive messages in Vzwpix from almost all of the most popular mobile carriers. Here is a list of the wireless carriers where you can send and receive video and picture messages aside from Verizon Wireless customers: Alltel, AT&T Cingular, Bell Mobility, Boost Mobile, Caroline West, Cincinnati Bell Wireless, Coral Wireless, Cricket/Leap Wireless, Dobson, Hello Wireless, Iowa Wireless, Metro PCS, nTelos, Rogers, Sprint/Nextel, Sun Com Wireless, Telus, T-Mobile, Union Tel, US Cellular, Virgin Mobile USA and Viaero Wireless.

Please note that Cingular only accepts video messages that have a file size of 100kb or less. If exceeded, Cingular delivers the message but not the video attachment. Always check if your video file is less than 100 kb before you send to someone who uses Cingular. Cingular customers can also send video messages to Verizon Wireless Customers.

Composing picture/video messages in Vzwpix is also easy. All you need to do is login to your Vzwpix Place account and go to the Picture and Video Messaging page. On the left side of the page there is a menu, select Send A Message. From the section Look Inside, choose the folder that contains the image(s) that you would like to use. Click and drag the thumbnail of the images from the center window and drop them on the empty slides in the right most window. Click on Preview to check if you have the right files and then Send. You can send picture messages from your Vzwpix Place account to up to 10 mobile numbers or valid email addresses but just make sure they are separated by commas. Enter the subject and click on Send and click on Ok after the confirmation.

There are many types of files that you can use to create picture/video messages in Vzwpix Place. You can compose messages using images, audio files, video files and text. These image types can be used to create picture/video messages: JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, 362, 3GP,  and MPEG4. The MIDI audio type can be used to create a picture message.

You can also compose and send video messages from Vzwpix Place but in video messages only one slide can be populated with the video media element and only text can be added to the slide. A maximum of 9 slides can be composed with a picture, text and audio for each picture message.
